“My English”
My story of English is a little frustrating because I am one of those person that has been taken course of English for twelve years in public school and don’t learn to speak English correctly. I am not saying the fault is from the system of public school or the teacher that it have. Just let me say in those years the English was not my interest. I did not think that learning English was very important to me. In fact I used to think that I only needed the Spanish in all my life.
When I start my first year in the university I crash whit the reality. All the texts book are in English, even I had to take some class in English. Then I became to feel an interest for expand my English vocabulary and start not only to read, even write and speak English with more fluency. I was decided to learn English and I began to see the television and all the movies with English subtitle. And I start to read all in English without translating to Spanish. At the beginning was a little hard but eventually I began to make less effort to understand what I was reading. And now I read considerably fast my English lecture.
In this moment I don’t speak very well in English and to make it puts me very nervous. Now I think English or another language with demand is important if I want to be a professional. I want to be a doctor, in this field know English is vital and offer more opportunity.
